China Health Care Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Siew Man Pang as the Chief Executive Officer to spearhead the growth of the USA publicly listed organization into a national network of Specialty Hospitals, Satellite Health Centers and VIP Maternity & GYN Centers in China. Mr. Pang takes over from Mr. Jay Macfarland who will remain as the Senior Group Advisor to the organization effective immediately.

Board Directors
Mr. SM Pang is an Australian trained healthcare management professional with over 30 years of senior management experience in the healthcare industries of Hong Kong, China, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. He has extensive commercial healthcare industry experiences as he was the former Executive Director of Quality Healthcare Asia (QHA), the first public-listed healthcare services company in the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock No. 593), and Chairman and CEO of its Managed Care division, Quality HealthCare Medical Services Ltd. As the previous Senior Vice President and Executive Director of UPMG which was merged into China Health Care Corporation on July 31, 2008, he was instrumental in establishing the seven VIP Maternity & GYN Centers in China.
Mr. Pang was most recently the Group Executive Director of Health Management International Limited (HMI), with overall responsibility for the Groupˇ¦s China initiative in healthcare services and education development. HMI is a Singapore-listed regional healthcare services and education provider, Before that, he was the Director of Medical Services of ChinaCare Investments Holdings Ltd, a company specializing in innovative investments in the Chinaˇ¦s healthcare market.
From 1990 to 1998, Mr. Pang was the Chief Development Officer and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. He was recruited from Australia by the then newly formed Authority to help integrate and reform the 45 Government and Government-subvented hospitals to better serve the changing healthcare needs of the people of Hong Kong.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, he was in-charge of the Management Reviews and Information Services of South Western Sydney Area Health Services, Australia which is an integrated and comprehensive healthcare and hospital services system serving a population of about a million people.
Mr Pang had also served as Head of the Planning and Development Division of the Health and Medical Services Department in the state of Sabah, Malaysia in the early 80ˇ¦s after working as Administrator and Executive in various hospitals in Sydney, Australia.
Mr. Pang obtained his B.SC, Master of Health Administration and Business Computing degrees from Australia and senior management training at Stanford University. Currently he is a trained surveyor on healthcare facilities accreditation of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards, a national accreditation body of Australia.
